Post by fastoche44 »

Hi
When i use the "save as" function it crash openoffice and go to restore mode for the document. (save function works)

This is for all document
I use openoffice 2.3 for windows
People have the same pb in linux after research

When i use the option to use openoffice dialogue box, it didn't crash, but i can't use this !!

Have you a solution to this problem, on all other computer, i do not have this problème with the same version.
I use a older version on the same pc for test, and this is the same, openoffice crash.
I do not have problem with others applications.

Can you try OpenOffice.org version 2.3.1? Which version of Windows do you use?

Does this problem happen with blank documents and non-blank documents? Does it happen in Writer and Calc and Impress?

Try this.
1. Close OpenOffice.org
2. Exit the Quickstarter
3. Rename the directory c:\Documents and settings\<user>\Application data\Openoffice.org2
3. Start OpenOffice.org

Also, look through this list to see if you can identify your issue.
