Welcome beginner. Please answer all of the questions below which may provide information necessary to answer your question.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Which version of OpenOffice.org are you using? OO2.3.1
What Operating System (version) are you using? MS Vista Home Basic
What is your question or comment? I have downed the iso images using bitTorrent http://distribution.openoffice.org/cdro ... wnoad.html
Afteward, I burned the file.iso (with the iso as extension) onto a CD. Now how do I use it to install OpenOffice? When I inserted that CD into the drive and double-click it, WINDOWS said it does not know which program to use to open the .iso file. Huh? I thought I can download/burn OO into a CD so that I can use it to install on the Mac machine without download it again. Thanks

Re: how to use the downed iso images to install oo
You must not burn a data CD, you must burn your CD from the downloaded image. So afterwards it will not show "filename.iso" on the CD, but all of the available OOo setup files.jacquesFeu wrote:Afteward, I burned the file.iso (with the iso as extension) onto a CD.
Googleing for "how to burn iso" produced this for example:

OOo 3.2.0 on Ubuntu 10.04 • OOo 3.2.1 on Windows 7 64-bit and MS Windows XP
