Labels on Several Pages

Post by davec51 »

I too have a problem with labels (it's that Christmas card time again), but it's different from some of the others posted here.
I have set up the labels, entered the data fields, and synched the data. When I click the "data to fields" icon, I get a perfect page of labels. However, I have selected enough data entries for several pages of labels.
How do I get OO to keep going until all the data are exhausted?

Merging in OOo just confuses me no end, so I tend to do everything manually. I just use copy/paste to make enough copies of the page to print all the records.

I do think it's possible to have OOo automate that and clone the first page for you, but I'm not sure how to make that will happen.

Thanks, Ack, for responding.
I get 33 labels on a page, so I'll just select the first 33 names, print them out, select the next 33, and so forth. Or maybe some OO genius will tell me how to do it otherwise

To get multiple pages of labels open the label document, click the Print icon and answer 'yes' to the 'form letter' query. In the next dialog "all" is the default but you can also select records if desired.
