[Issue] Restrict Word Count to main body text

Post by jasper »

When I am writing an essay, word count included my footnotes, please how do I stop it doing this. I know that every time I create a footnote I can count the works then subtract, but when you have a document 9/10 pages long, it takes a lot of time.

Thank you :?:

I have written this extension to count words in different sections of an essay, with a separate wordcount for footnotes. It will do what you want.
I'm using Libreoffice v7.5.2.2 on Linux Mint
