MAIL does not work now the OpenOffice is installed
I believe there was a Open Office setup question that said some existing software was not compatible and some programs may not work, do you want to continue? I said yes. OO worked fine, but when I tried using my MAIL program I get an error code -1712. Has anyone got an idea for a fix?

I have a Panther 3.9 OS.

And which version of OOo did you install ? I've not heard of problems being caused with Mail.app because someone installed OOo though. Mail.app has had loads of problems of its own in the past. Look for the "error 1712 Mail.app" on the web.sonnypondrom wrote:I have a Panther 3.9 OS.
