[Solved] Alphabetical list

Post by jbp54 »

How does one make a simple alphabetical list that one can ocassionally come back to and add something to the list? I tried for quite a while to figure it out, but have had no luck! Thank you. John

Each item in a separate paragraph > select list > Tools > Sort.

Mine has a Tables/Sort, but no list/Tools/Sort. I think I've got the latest version as I keep Debian updated.

He meant: select the list, then apply Tools -> Sort.

Well, I didn't get it after all, though I understand. It simply didn't work when I selected all and went to tools/sort. I don't understand why.

Now I go back to it and it works perfectly, but it wouldn't work earlier and I was doing the same thing! Anyway problem solved!
