I've taken a look through the forum and didn't see an answer to this particular question, and I wasn't able to find it in the help text either. (Hopefully I didn't miss it somewhere.) I'm hoping someone reading this can help.
Platform: Windows XP
Save format: MS PPT 97/2000/XP
OO version: 3.1.1
Viewer: MS Office 2007 PPT viewer
I upgraded to OO 3.1.1 a couple days ago and created a one-slide Impress file. When I saved it, I choose the "Microsoft PowerPoint 97/2000/XP (.ppt)" file type and was able to view the resulting file via the MS Office 2007 PowerPoint Viewer.
I then attempted to upload that .ppt file to a Adobe Connect session for an online class that I am taking, but that didn't work. The instructor had requested that the .ppt files be saved in the Office 2003 format in order for them to work with Adobe Connect, but one cannot specify which version of Office you want to save your Impress file as within OO.
So my question is this...When you save an Impress file as a .ppt file, is it saved as an Office 2003 file or an Office 2007 file?
Thanks for any insight!
Doug
