[Solved] Text Document automatic suggessted word completions

Thanks in advance for any help or redirection.
As I type in a text document frequently word completions will appear highlighted in blue. I can not discover how to accept a change; anything I try simply makes it disappear.

Press Enter to accept the suggestion.

Hitting the Enter key should accept the suggestion.

That makes the suggestion disappear. I can't find where I might change actions.

On PC computers /Tools /Autocorrect Options : Word completion tab, "Accept with" Return can be changed to other options using the dropdown at the side of Return.
This may be under Preferences on a Mac. Should also be available under /Format /Autocorrect /Autocorrect options.
