Editing Legal Pleadings in Word .doc format

I am editing a legal pleading saved in .doc. There are 8 tables. I can't get to any of the text, except the first caption. When I tab the cursor moves to the left of all the text. I can click on table but the cursor does not appear near the text.

I fear that the tables are in fact picture. Can you upload a sample file (see
How to attach a document here)? If not, save the file as .odt, open that new file with an archive manager and check the /pictures sub-folder, you may see the "tables".
