Compare to OO Impress files for differences.

A colleague modified an Impress document. I tried to use Edit - Compare, but it does not show in the Edit menu. I also tried to find Edit - Change and it does not show up.

I think /Edit /Compare is only available for Writer and Spreadsheet documents. you could unzip the files and compare content.xml using an extrenal compare utility (also any other files of the archive you think appropriate).

There is no feature like in Writer. What you can do is to open two versions simultaneously and to check differences in two windows, in edit mode.

If one used that method, probably best to open both files in Notes view, which will allow comparison of the slide and the notes, but not of the custom animations.
