Hello

I have some MS Office Powerpoint files that are a .EXE format.
You know FILESNAME.EXE

I would like to get them to play with OpenOffice Presentation 2.4?

Is it possible? Is there something I need to add or install or turn on?

I'm new to Ubuntu 804!

Your files are executable programs for the Windows operating system. OOo is a platform independent office suite for it's own right. It can open some of the most common office file formats such as PowerPoint (*.ppt). This office suite is not at all a replacement for any other software. It does not run any third-party executables on any of the supported platforms.
