Data base form

Post by Farmboync47 »

I have created a data base form but cant put any info on it. Also there is no record numbers so if I could put info on the form how do I get to the next blank form to fill it out? I'm confused and need lots of help. Are there any up to date tutorials on you tube? :(

Not sure about you tube, but you can browse this site's forums Base Tutorials and Database Examples

There are a number of situations that could cause your problem.
Is there a navigation bar on your form?
What are you using for your Primary Key in the database table linked to your form?
I've found it best, especially until you are familiar with Base tables and forms to use the default "ID" field as the Primary Key, and set it to AutoValue.
Also be sure your primary key appears somewhere on your form.

A good place start learning about forms is this tutorial
