[Solved] Line spacing problem is driving me crazy!!
[Solved] Line spacing problem is driving me crazy!!
I have scoured the internet for answers to a simple question, how do I reduce the spacing between lines of text? I used to make address labels using Word and Comic Sans font with no problems. Now using Writer, I cant seem to reduce the spacing between lines in the addresses as I type them. It puts too much space between the lines. Any suggestions would be great! I have tried everything Ive found online and nothing works.

Look at the Paragraph Style in use and change the settings on the Indents and Spacing tab for space above paragraph and space below paragraph

OO uses the line height as specified by the font. The line spacing on the page depends on whether you have separate paragraphs or multiple lines in the same paragraph.
If each address line is a separate paragraph, then make sure
Format > Paragraph > Indents & Spacing > Spacing > Above/Below are set to zero
Then, you can set the line spacing to "Fixed" and choose a line height.
If each line is part of the same paragraph, you can also set a "fixed" line spacing, or you can set the line spacing to "Proportional" and set it to something less than 100%.

Not many people will respond to an offensive post with bad language but I will make an exception this time.acpower wrote:Way do the programers hide all commando so it is impossible to find the shit ......???
They don't. The problem is that some users cannot be bothered to read the documentation, or look at the Help file which will tell all. See the Writer documentation here
