Exporting images into powerpoint

Post by amazsteve »

Images which are stored on my computer in a directory which I name cd, subfile photos when placed into powerpoint come up blank on the screens of people I send this to and are replaced by the words file:///C:/users/steve/AppData/local/cd/photos so they cannot see them
How do I over come this please?

Embed them in your Impress file. If they are already inserted as links, on your computer in Impress use /Edit /Links to break the link, or alternately use /Tools /Minimise Presentation to do the same task and also optimise your presentation in size for transmission and viewing.

Impress is the name of OpenOffice's presentation component, which can make .ppt files.
