hi. this will be my 1st post so hello to the forum.
im new to the program but so far ive got most things under control. the problem im having is minor but annoying. in any of the drop down menu check boxes theres a problem with the color used to show the selection is active. for some reason the check boxes have a white background [which i think is normal] but the color of the check mark is a very pale yellow. so yellow on a white background is difficult to see.
is there a way of changing this to a darker color?
thanks russ.

Hi and welcome to the forum!
Have you tried to change the theme of your Windows account? It may come from that setting.

hi. sorry for the long delay. i must have been busy? where did the time go?
do you mean the way my computer is customized ? i guess if thats the case then its going to have to be that way .. as ive always had a "grey" theme .. since win98. cant bear all the bright colors .. and blue everything. some default settings are different from the norm.
ive been getting on with the Writer program and so far its been an easy ride. just the job.

Try to create a new Windows account and then delete it, it's just to check what's the result with a default situation.
