[Solved] Using OpenOffice on Nook

Post by myrddinak »

I recently purchased a Nook HD+. Can I download and use OpenOffice 4.0 on My Nook and if so how?

Thank You for Your reply but I know just enough about computers to be dangerous. I have no idea what system My Nook is or platform or, or, or whatever. My desktop and laptop are running Windows 7. My Nook has a bunch of Apps (whatever Apps are) including a version of MSOffice. I could use that but I would prefer using OpenOffice.

Not on a Nook or any tablet as yet. I believe there is a move afoot to port LibreOffice to Android (mainstream tablets) but I have no information on this. I still prefer a real, full-size keyboard for real work.

Thank You. That is exactly what I needed to know. I agree about the full size keyboard but there are times I Am away from My computer with only My Nook and I want to type and save something in a format I Am familiar with and (basically) know how to use.
