Can't format auto paragraph numbering like this . . .

I cannot seem to set up a style that will automatically number paragraphs (list, I suppose) so it will look like the following (which is how most numbered paragraphs in legal documents (contracts, affidavits, etc.) would look :

         1.     We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.

         2.     We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.

         3.     We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.

Can anyone help?

What exactly is the problem? Is it the alignment that you want to change? That can be done in the bullets and numbering dialog, which can be found in the bullets and numbering toolbar.
