Dashes

Post by scripted »

Hoping someone can tell me how to create a dash in a text document. I once was able to use the "space-two-hyphen-space..." method, but it seems to no longer work, ever since I disabled aototext, I think it was, or the feature that stops Open Office from anticipating words and making suggestions as one types.
Thank you.

It is three hyphens and a return/enter. And your correct that is an auto correct function.

Did you precede "two-hyphen-space" with a space? It won't work without it.

Yes, I did. I should edit my original entry to reflect that.
Thanks, Bill.
