No Quickstarter in Systray

I am running OO 2.3.1 under Mandriva 2008.0 Linux and have ticked the Enable Systray Quickstarter option, but nothing comes up. I ask because I did see it once, but I have no idea why. Could it be because I am running 3D desktop?

It is possible problem with 3D it is different on application handling, try to search on Mandriva forums.
AOO 4.0 and LibO 4 on Win 8

Disable your 3D desktop temporarily for troubleshooting.

* Visit OpenOffice.org Ninja (blog) and OpenOffice.org Ninja Wiki for news, previews, troubleshooting, etc.
