I am experiencing regular crashes in text documents and spreadsheets - several a day if I am not careful. I have reported these using the automatic on-crash procedures.
I am using XP Professional and a British English library and have the latest version
of OO (2.3.0). In fact, the problem started after the most recent update.
The bug is easily reproduced. If I make a mispelling that highlights (dotted unline) the
error and click on the word OO crashes (closes down and invokes the restore process).
This also happens if I call the spellchecker from the menu.
It is very difficult to avoid when working with spreadsheets; just trying to edit or
highlight text in a cell often invokes the crash.
Any suggestions?

Re: Regular crashes seemingly related to Spellchecking
It had been reported some time ago for OOo 2.2 but it had been fixed. See that report and try to replace your current English (UK) files : Issue 76100 - Newly downloaded dictionary for en_UK causes crash when spellchecking.qbuster wrote:I am using XP Professional and a British English library and have the latest version

Thanks to add '[Solved]' in your first post title (edit button) if your issue has been fixed.
