Question: Slide Show Settings
In Impress "slide show settings" window, I have selected monitor 2 for as my presentation monitor. I have the extended my Windows desktop onto this monitor. When I make the presentation on monitor 2 and forward the slides on this monitor, the slides on monitor 1 do not move forward in conjunction with the slide show. How do I make monitor 1 track the slide show on monitor 2?
Re: Question: Slide Show Settings
The show and the editing window are completely separate, just like they are in Powerpoint. They aren't supposed to follow each other. This allows you to edit slide 10 while you're still showing slide 9 -- if you want to.
There is an extension being worked on which will allow you to control (on monitor 1) the slide show (on monitor 2) in the way you describe. I expect that extension will be released soonish (sometime this year). You can read more and follow the progress here: Presenter_View [OOo wiki].

Re: Question: Slide Show Settings
I look forward to the implementation of Presenter View. It will be a very useful tool.
