[Dropped] Gradient of a graph

Ive just started a Physics degree and im finding this program useful as im on a strict budget. I would really like to know how to calculate the gradient of any graphs I create on calc, ive done it before on excel, but im strugglin with this one. Thanx for your help.

Perhaps you could be a bit more specific about what you want to do.

I don't know what you're used to in Excel, but as far as I know, the Chart module can do some limited fitting to the data. Unfortunately, the current OOo version can't display the fit results, only the graph.
