[Solved] Color not printing; comes out black

I am trying to print a document with color in Writer and it comes out black, color is selected in properties. I verified my OpenOffice is up to date and I just updated my printer firmware. I am able to print color in other programs. I did a chat with Epson and went through their suggestions, they suggested I contact OpenOffice. Please advise, thank you.

Perhaps this option is on. Options are set with OpenOffice → Preferences on a Mac, Tools → Options on other platforms.

If this solved your problem please go to your first post use the Edit ✏️ button and add [Solved] to the start of the Subject field. Select the green checkmark icon at the same time.

Try to export the file as a PDF and then print that PDF (or at least one page that should be in color).
It will tell if the problem comes from AOO or from your printer.

It is 4.1.16 on windows 11 Pro

Exported PDF prints in color.

It was a different path to get there but the "convert colors to grayscale" was checked. How would that have happened? Now it is Color!
