Post by donnje »

Hi everyone,
In file 1, how can I see the sum formula for B34 and c34?
In file 3, how can I make the sum formula recognize values with the . as in G30? and understand the message of the red triangle?
Thanks

You can't see any formulas because those cells contain text and do not contain a formula. Go to cell G30 and enter 9999. The text in B34 won't change, showing that the cell is not summing the values above it. If a cell did have a formula you would view it by selecting the cell and pressing F2.

This is the same situation as your last post in the forum, two months ago: [Solved] Red triangle ▶︎ at end of cell. Get rid of the junk in that cell. Turn on View → Non-printing Characters so you can see newlines ¶ in cells.

If this solved your problem please go to your first post use the Edit ✏️ button and add [Solved] to the start of the Subject field. Select the green checkmark icon at the same time.
