C:\Program Files (x86)\OpenOffice 4\program\svxcore.dll is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error. Try reinstalling .......

Give LibreOffice a try. You might have better luck with that and a more up to date and constantly developed office suite to boot. There are several good reasons for making the switch anyway, some of which are mentioned here: [Tutorial] Considering a Switch from OpenOffice to LibreOffice? Some Useful Information

If you want to persist in attempts to reinstall OpenOffice then only download from here: OpenOffice Official Download
LibreOffice 25.8.4.2 (x64) installed to Windows 11 Pro. 25H2
Apache OpenOffice Portable 4.1.16 [Portable Apps]
For Java I use Adoptium Temurin JRE LTS Releases.

I am having same problem.

OO 4.1.16 won't run on Windows 11 Pro build 26200.7462.

I fully uninstalled/reinstalled. No change.

I uninstalled/ flushed registry / reinstalled. Still no luck.

I uninstalled 4.1.16 and went back to 4.1.15 . Installed and running fine. I will delay the offered upgrade to 4.1.16 for a week or so.

I also have LibreOffice installed. But I prefer some of the features of OO Spreadsheet over the LO equivalents.
