[Solved] Single letters shown as spelling mistake

My computer shows single letters entered by themselves as a spelling mistake ( red squiggle underneath) but I want them to be valid entries
yet my laptop with the same program does not
Is there something in the settings causing this?

The ABC auto spellcheck was highlighted

In fact, all sentences are unlined with red squiggle!
