"Not all attributes could be read"
Beginning today, I am getting the message "not all attributes could be read" whenever I open a spreadsheet. I press OK and the spreadsheet opens. What is causing the message and how do I stop it appearing?

- File type? (.ods, .xls, .xlsx or other?)
- Can you upload a sample file here?

This is a known bug which also appeared in Libreoffice but seems to have been fixed: https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/sho ... i?id=72781
So you might try that. It also has a lot of other improvements.

Re: "Not all attributes could be read"
Thanks for the replies. The software was installed in April 2022 and, as I said, the problem first occurred two days ago.
I tried replacing the settings with an old backup and the same error occurred.
It occurs with all my spreadsheets. I attach an example.

Re: "Not all attributes could be read"
If I recollect correctly, sometimes such messages arise from the storage format in use on the target drive. I think NTFS does not support all attributes; there may be other formats also that do not support all attributes.
Are the files stored on a network or USB drive?

Thanks again. The files are stored on the computer drive which is and always has been ext4.

Re: "Not all attributes could be read"
This same problem showed up with an early version of LibreOffice, and then went away, as far as I can judge from the problem report:
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/sho ... i?id=72781
The only investigation I can suggest is a detailed examination of the file/folder/drive permissions on the target drive. It is possible that some of the attributes are relatively trivial, and ignoring them won't cause any harm.

Thanks. I looked through every folder except those for the applications other than Calc in .openoffice/4/user/config/soffice.cfg/modules/. Every file and folder had read permission.
