[Solved] Menu bar headache

Post by Oskar4U »

I'm using LO 25.2.0.3 and I wonder if it's possible to have a menu bar as per attached but only the top line where we see File, Edit, View, etc. and nothing below. This will be for the Writer and Calc only

In my 17" laptop the vertical space is limited and I would like to have all the space I can get.

Thank you

You seem to use the ribbon flavor of the LO UI (menu View > User interface). In this case, I doubt you can reduce it. You have to go back to the Single toolbar mode to get rid of the other ones.

Please add [Solved] at the beginning of the title in your first post (top of the topic) with the button if your issue has been fixed.

Both methods worked but by accident I found the following better:

View / User Interface, selected Single Toolbar

Many thanks
