way back - i used arrays to create an indexing for an expense sheet
the attached has a new sheet ( sheet 1) and the sample of the old on
Sheet 2 has a working index array setup .
the purpose
Given - spreadsheet with rows of entries
vendor, date, description, amounts etc
Result
create a column with requested / desired information
example from sheet one
given vendor
list all and associated amounts - or instances
my array formula is just too difficult to amend for each occasion -
is there a quicker easier way?
