Hello,
I CAN change other attributes like Background Color, Font Size, Alignment, etc. just fine, but the Font Color refuses to change from the default black.
Any/all help appreciated.

Hi and welcome to the forum!
Make sure that the Tools > Options > Calc > View > Display > Value highlighting is unchecked. Or quicker View > Value highlighting.
Please add [Solved] at the beginning of the title in your first post (top of the topic) with the 🖉 button if your issue has been fixed.

Re: Solved Cannot change font color
Thanks much, Hagar Delest, that fixed it.
Having said that, who would think it would be necessary to change a Default in order to simply be able to see a font color. Geez
Grateful to get it fixed, 'tho....

Re: [Solved] Cannot change font color
It is off by default at installation; but perhaps someone has accidentally turned it on via keyboard shortcut Ctrl+F8.

Re: [Solved] Cannot change font color
Thank you for that, @robleyd - I have another app that I've had for a while, and had set a macro in it to use Ctrl+F8. I've now removed the shortcut for Ctrl+F8 in Calc so it can't happen again.
