[Solved] All words showing misspelled

When I do a spell check of a document in OpenOffice, every word in the document is flagged as misspelled. I have uninstalled and reinstalled OpenOffice I use the English - British spelling option. Can someone please help.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled OpenOffice

Reinstalling the program seldom fixes spelling check problems.
