[Solved] Difficulty downloading AOO 4.1.15

I went to what I think is the site where I normally download new versions of Oo and asked to begin the download. Immediately I was prompted to install an extension called Green Tree Search, which had something to do with planting trees every time I do a search on Yahoo. I could not proceed without accepting the extension. Then I was presented with something else relating to giving me higher search speeds, which obviously I was going to have to accept. At that point I quit and came here. What is going on, and is there a better site to download?

In my opinion it is a better choice to download and install the LibreOffice 7.5.9 on the Win 10.

Before you do anything else, you might want to check your system for unwanted software if you have been randomly accepting unexpected software.

The proper, and only, site to download is https://openoffice.org/download/ This will allow you to select the appropriate version of AOO for your operating system; you will then be redirected to Sourceforge to download the chosen package. DO NOT click on any links on the Sourceforge page, just wait a few moments for the download to automatically begin.

Thank you, robleyd. You are correct -- I was too quick to click on anything labeled "start" or "download" etc. Looking carefully, I now see that what I had clicked on was an advertisement. With your help, I have now successfully downloaded 4.1.15 with no difficulty.
