It would definitively help a lot if you would tell us the template pack and the concrete template. Anyhow, http://user.services.openoffice.org/en/ ... 393#p51393 describes how to unprotect all the sheets in order to change the template's cell-style hierarchy. I don't think the currencies are hard formatted, so you should find the style responsible for all currencies and change the currency symbol. You may want to change the number format locale as well if it is set explicitly to US English and you don't want to type reverse dates like 12/31/99.

Thanks for the response.

I have tried following those instructions and they allow me to alter the page style but not the cell style.

The template came from either;

Professional Template Pack - English
http://extensions.services.openoffice.o ... latepack_1

or

Professional Template Pack II - English
http://extensions.services.openoffice.o ... atePack_II

I can't be sure which as I installed both at the same time the properties info for the template I'm trying to change is;
Title:
Marketing Budget Plan

Really hope someone out there can help

Following my own instructions in http://user.services.openoffice.org/en/ ... 393#p51393 I opened the template for edit, selected all sheets, unprotected the sheets, switched the stylist window to hierarchical view, changed number format locale of "Default", changed number format locale and currency of styles "Input" and "Result", re-protected both sheets, saved and closed.

Make shure that there is no check mark at menu:Tools>Protect Document>Sheet. The setting applies to both sheets separately.

You can also select all the sheets in order to (un-)set the protection status for all of them.
