Recovery of untitled doc after crash

I had a 30+ page doc up when OO crashed. OO could not recover but saved doc. Now I cannot find the saved doc. Is there a default file that OO saves to?

The Save was only of Autorecovery information, which is not 100% reliable, as you have found. In future, with any file, you should name it (/File /Save as) as soon as you start it, and Save regularly (Ctrl S will do that). Instinctively you should press Ctrl S whenever you stop for thought.
