[Solved] Copy comments?

Post by Marscaleb »

I have a document that has been reviewed and commented by three different people. However, they each did this individually, so I have three separate copies each with comments from a different person. I'd like to make one document with all their comments combined.

I could copy the text and add a new comment into one of the other documents, but then the comment is labeled as being from me, and not the other person. I would like to be able to distinguish between who left what comment.

The only other way I know of to go about this is to go into my settings, change my user name, and then copy the text for each comment and create a new comment. However, this is very time-consuming.

Any other ways I can go about this?

Edit menu/Compare documents. Accept all the changes where comments have been inserted.
