[Solved] Adjust page margin

Post by conrail »

hi guys, new to this forum and to open office, I am using Windows 11 pro,
I am creating a table document and the text size is 12 comic sans,
I have one row that has gone onto the next page even though the ruler shows 3 segments,
I have adjusted the top of the ruler to take my document to the top of the page but I am unable to adjust the bottom of the ruler,
I am secretary of a small group of elderly friends and using trial and error I have found comic sans 12 is the best option for the people to read,
also I don't want to go over onto page two, so I don't want to make it any smaller,
all help and advice appreciated on moving this ruler

Edit: Changed subject, was Adjusting side ruler

Do you mean you want to reduce the bottom of the margin of the page so its smaller? Format menu/Page/Page tab/bottom for that.

Welcome to the forum conrail.

As you are new to OpenOffice then you might like to know that most likely you would be better off switching to LibreOffice instead of OpenOffice. For a summary of some the reasons why see this thread: [Tutorial] Considering a Switch from OpenOffice to LibreOffice? Some Useful Information
Windows 10 Pro. x64
LibreOffice (Still) 7.6.5.2 (x64) Fully installed to system
LibreOffice (Still) Portable 7.6.5.2 (x86) [PortableApps]
