[Solved] Does OpenOffice have an app for editing PDF files?

Post by upgradeyard »

Is there a dedicated application in OpenOffice for directly editing PDF files? Could you provide detailed information on the capabilities and features of OpenOffice for PDF editing?

Can I edit PDF files?

Note that this extension only provides very basic editing facilities. If you need to make significant edits to PDF files, look for a dedicated PDF editor.

The LibreOffice has a similar (minimal) pdf editing feature by default (not needed to install any extensions.

The PDF file will open in the Draw application but not in the Writer.
