8180 is listed on two paper sizes - set the dropdown to Avery Letter which lists 8180, or to Avery A4; this latter lists J8160.

Have you checked your printer specifications? Is its non-printing area wider than .19"?

Set up your own label sheet with the correct label sizes - it's very easy. See Chapter 11 - Using Mail Merge in the Writer Guide which gives detailed instructions.

Re: Labels for 8160 is incorrect
You may have missed the point Bill asked about: Is its non-printing area wider than .19"? Many printers are physically incapable of printing close to the edge of the page. They need a small amount of room at the edge to grip the paper as it moves within the machine. That portion is termed the non-printing area. Its size is fixed and you cannot "set" it. Printer capabilities vary. You need to determine the non-printing area for your printer by consulting the specifications from the manufacturer.jtandterry wrote: ↑Wed Dec 14, 2022 12:35 am It set at .19 and when it prints the 1st row and the first charcter of the row gets truncated
It is best to determine the non-printing area before purchasing labels so you don't buy ones which extend into that area. However, if the non-printing area exceeds the left margin of the labels you have purchased, you will need to make adjustments for that. You can do so in the File → New → Labels → Format dialog, where you can change the left margin of your labels. Increasing the left margin of the label will push the text to the right, out of the non-printing area, but you must ensure the text to be printed does not exceed the width of the physical label, either by ensuring that your text lengths are short enough, or by decreasing the font size, or by editing a few problematic labels.

I don't see any problem with Avery Letter Size: 8160 Ink Jet Address.jtandterry wrote: ↑Tue Dec 13, 2022 8:41 pm according avery it should be
