[Solved] Numbering configurations in Writer: How to stop autonumbering?

Would you please help with "auto-numbering" and "numbering configurations" in Writer?

I am trygin to depict the situation: When I write: "1. xxxxx" then I pressed enter to pass to the next line in the same page, "1.xxxxx" moves a little right of page from the edge of page, and under it, number 2. is automatically appears, in line with 1. I don't want this feature. How can I disable it?

Note: a similar feature is in the websites.

If you alter the AutoCorrect Option Apply Numbering Symbol it remains for each newly generated document. Even if you edit an older document it is disabled as well.
This customized behaviour should be saved not in the document itself but in registrymodifications.xcu in your Office user profile, if I remember correctly. - Cheers

I have a number list. When I removed the tick from format>autocorrect>autocorrectoptions>apply numbering-symbols, and press enter a new number appears. It shouldn't have worked. Why? Is the situation related to "while typing" option? I have removed the tick on "while typing" to stop all the automatic changes, but "autonumbering" still works.

Okay, it seems that starting a numbering list always takes back autonumbering. Right?

Unticking the option does not affect existing lists. Those will continue to be numbered when you hit Enter. Press Enter a second time to stop the numbering of any list.
