I installed open office 4.1.13 on an HP laptop with windows 10 pro. As I am working on my document it repeatedly keeps crashing(about 11 times in 3 hours) with this error message:
Fatal error
Access violation error. No RTT| data
Does anyone know why this is happening or how to prevent it? It has to 'recover' my file each time I reopen it. One time it stated that I couldn't have access to the file because I had locked it for editing. Another time it told me the file didn't exist. Both times the file did reopen anyway.

Try the LibreOffice.

RTT seems to be "Round Trip Time" and is associated with networking. Are you accessing a file from OpenOffice across a local or extended network?
