Installing LibreOffice on a 32-bit Computer w/o Internet

Post by skuddle »

I would like to install LibreOffice on my Vista-based (32-bit) computer. The computer is not, and will not be connected to the internet. I have the 32-bit MSI file but I think that requires an internet connection.

How can I install LibreOffice on the Vista computer?
* HP Pavilion Desktop 510-p114
* Windows 10 Home 22H2 19045.3996
* Firefox 122; Thunderbird 115.6.1
* LibreOffice 7.2.4.1

If I had Windows, I'd just double-click the MSI file and see what happens.

Copy the installation file onto removable media and use that to put the file on the non-internet machine. The installation file is around 210 Mb and will install the program.

Note that the most recent version of LibreOffice that supports Vista is version 5.4.7.2 available from the LibreOffice download archive.
