Adding find and replace to template

hi! i'm new to openoffice. i would just like to ask if it is possible to save the font and font colors that you set in find and replace to your template? i've tried a couple of times but whenever i open a new document, the format that i set in find and replace before is not there. i just want to know if it's possible or i have to format find and replace to the specific font and color every time i open a new document. thanks!!!

Using OOo 3.1, it seems that the Find & Replace dialog remembers the previous settings for any documents I have open, but only for one session. Once I exit OOo, the settings are lost.
