OK, I feel like a total n00b asking this... which, I suppose I am.
I've got OOo 3.0.x Impress running on WinXP SP3. I moved over about a year ago, and never had occasion to make a presentation in the program. So now I'm trying to migrate over my "old" *.pot files into Impress, and make sure that they are templates. There's just one small problem... I have *no* idea how to do that!
Except, of course, opening each one and saving as template. Given that there are 68 *.pot files to import, that would be a minor industry on my part... there's got to be an easier way. For the record, I tried using the Template Organizer, but I can't make it do what I'm trying to do.
Help!

Have you tried the File>Wizards>Converter?
LibreOffice 7.6.2.1 on Xubuntu 23.10 and 7.6.4.1 portable on Windows 10

That worked. I didn't know about that feature
Thanks for your help!

How did you get Files>Wizards>Document Converter to work for you?
I keep trying to convert a file, let's call it: lang.pot into an OpenOffice Powerpoint document. However, I keep getting "could not be saved." errors.

Bumping this as no response; possibly as the original problem is ten years old and marked solved.
What is the exact error?
