Spellcheck off for just the template?

Post by mister_d »

Is it possible to create a template where spellcheck/auto fix is turned off yet still turned on if I were to create a new document?
A friend of mine who teaches needs the kids to recognize and fix spelling on their own w/o the program assisting. She doesn't want to have to go in each and every time to change settings but would like the checker there for all other docs.

Of course, that's the purpose of templates. Just create one (see [Tutorial] Creating a new default template, no need to set it as default if the kids are taught how to create a document from a template) and set the Default paragraph style language to None.

Thanks to add '[Solved]' at beginning of your first post title (edit button) if your issue has been fixed.
