[Solved] SQL Status: HY000

Post by BPillard »

I am using Open Office 3.0 and simply want to print address labels for Christmas cards.
I have a label file that accesses an odb address file.
I successfully have entered 39 records, but every time I try to add the next record, I get an error message: Error inserting the new record
I can click on ok or more. When I click on more, I see two errors in the error list. Under description, the first one says Error inserting the new record
The second one says SQL Status: HY000

That is all the error info I get. I have no idea what the problem is. I am using Windows XP.
Can anyone help?

In OOo Base all table must have a primary key, your table has it?

Open your table in edit mode, right click on gray square before field which contain non recurring values for record.
If you don't have such field, create new one with integer type, with autoincrement settings.

Go to the first post, and edit Subject and add [Solved], or use green tick (as you used in last post) on first post.
