[Solved] Error: Bad Allocation

Post by Sonhos »

I have started getting 'Bad Allocation' messages in Calc, which closes the programme. Not sure if this is a software issue or a connectivity issue.

Try LibreOffice, you might have better luck with that. There are several good reasons for making the switch anyway, some of which are mentioned here: [Tutorial] Considering a Switch from OpenOffice to LibreOffice? Some Useful Information
LibreOffice 25.8.1.1 (x64) installed to Windows 11 Pro. 25H2
Apache OpenOffice Portable 4.1.15 [Portable Apps]
For Java I use Adoptium Temurin JRE LTS Releases.

Open Office 4.1.6 on Windows10
Windows 10 is "End of life" state now

First, update with last build OpenOffice 4.1.15.
But ensure that OpenOffice has been installed with administrator rights.
