[Solved] 2-digit date conversion inconsistency

Test condition: I have 2 short form dates (mm/dd/yy) in a csv file 30 days apart
12/06/29
01/05/30
When I read the file with calc (using other options Detect special numbers)
and click on each cell
the first one is 12/06/2029
but the second one is 01/05/1930 (I expected 2030)

Expanding the example, any date from 2025 to 2029 converts correctly, but any date from 2030 on converts to xx/xx/19xx
And if I then format cells to a longer date format, it verifies the problem
Of course if I use the longer form for the dates (mm/dd/yyyy), everything is correct.

There is a setting for changing this. Choose the menu item Tools -> Options and expand the OpenOffice list on the left. Click on General and increase the year that defaults to 1930.

I was able to change what you described to 2000. Now all my dates are in this century as I wanted.

If a custom template is used, this setting must be changed in the template in order to use it as the default.
