Hi everyone
I created a table and inserted comments in some cells, is it possible to enable the red box that indicates that comments exist?
thanks

Re: Indicator Comments
Comments will show a triangle with a callout to the margin where is located the comment.
Don't ou mix it up with Calc comments?

Re: Indicator Comments
Sorry but I don't understand what you mean. My English maybe.
Have you tried the feature to see by yourself? There is a menu View > Comments to show/hide them.
LibreOffice 25.2 on Linux Mint Debian Edition (LMDE 7 Gigi) and 25.2 portable on Windows 11.
Re: Indicator Comments
Comments anchored to text portions in cells of a text table are treated the same way as comments anchored anywhere else.
If the visibility of comments is disabled via the >View menu, comments are treated like bookmarks: You can select them in the navigator.
On Windows 10: LibreOffice 25.8.4 and older versions, PortableOpenOffice 4.1.7 and older, StarOffice 5.2

Re: Indicator Comments
Not that I know. I leave them on all the time. If /View /Comments is turned off they are not shown, but the start of the comment text is shown in Navigator, and one can move to the anchor location by double clicking the Navigator entry for a comment.

thanks shown in Navigator is very useful

Re: Indicator Comments
You could add your own character to mark the positions when comments are hidden, a ▲would affect the position of the other text - if that matters you could use a zero width space which will show as a thin grey line if view/field shadings are on and be hidden if not.
▲s can be toggled as hidden or shown if a character style is applied to them and the style's character hidden property is toggled.
Edit:
Or you could color or highlight the character nearest the comment anchor to show there's a comment there.

Re: Indicator Comments
I commence comments with a keyword, such as Revise, Check, Source... so that I can use navigator to move swiftly to a relevant comment.
