[Solved] Cell jumps, page shifts
Recently when I go to type a number in a cell my cell jumps down one cell to the cell below, in the same column when I type in the first number, and when I type in the second number my whole sheet shifts to the far right. I have changed no settings that I remember. Any suggestions as to how to correct, or what to check? Thanks

Re: Cursor jumps, page shifts
I have never heard of that behavior. I guess you could try resetting your user profile.
1. Shutdown OpenOffice
2. Open any folder and enter %appdata%/OpenOffice/4 in the address bar near the top of the folder window
3. Rename the user folder to user_old
4. Restart OpenOffice. You should get the registration screen. Fill that out and see if the problem is solved.
If that doesn't work, I'd like to know more. Does this happen only when entering numbers or also with text? Does it happen if the numbers are entered from the number pad (if you have one)? Does it matter whether you select the cell with a mouse click versus navigating with arrow keys? Basically, are there any circumstances under which this doesn't happen?

Re: (Solved) Cursor jumps, page shifts
FJCC: Thanks for your suggestions. It corrected itself somehow. Really strange. All I did was, close the page and reopened it, and it self-corrected. (I should have said cell instead of cursor)
