[Solved] Change column headings, currently A, B, C, …

Post by ray5450 »

I have successfully made a list database. The top of the columns, by default, are titled "A B C D...". Is there a way to edit these?

Reason: Tagged ✓ [Solved] Q: Change A B C D?; A: No since these letters show you how to address cells

What you describe sounds like a Calc spreadsheet, not a Base database. Can you give more details about what exactly you did to make your database?

I found instructions somewhere to import it to Calc in order to have an actual list. Is there another way I should have done it?

I've moved your topic to the Calc section, as your question is about Calc.

The answer is no, you can't edit the column headers. What you can do is insert a row at the top of the spreadsheet and add column headings there.
